Let me preface this by saying I’ve had God move in big ways in our finances and have many testimonies to prove it only a handful of which are on this site. But even though He’s consistently faithful, it’s not unusual to still struggle with keeping our flesh in check. This is one such example of that.

A the time of writing this, we are in the middle of another test of faith in the area of our finances. It may seem strange to testify when only a small portion of the picture is clear, but the fact of the matter is – God showed up and I want to tell about it because He is good!
At this moment, both my husband and I are not working. When I came back to the church, God quickly pricked my heart (and my husband’s) that I (we) needed to start giving to Him again. I’d gotten saved in February of 1997. In March of that year, God started talking to me about my finances. I knew I needed to give to God – not because He needs it, but because it was an indication of where my heart was (Matthew 6:21: “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also”).
